Optimizing Application Performance on HP Technical Servers
The content of the typical workload for technical computing servers has
shifted over the past several years from "dusty deck" FORTRAN 66 codes to
applications provided by independent software vendors (ISV). HP's High
Performance Systems Division is focusing on major ISV application
performance and this focus is illustrated by the performance of HP's V2250
server. The speaker will give an overview of V2250 performance on key
technical server applications and discuss the methodology that HPSD uses to
improve this performance.
